We use Slow's original leather made by Tochigi Leather, one of Japan's leading tanners. The raw material for this leather, which has been made through many trials and errors, is made from domestically produced Holstein steerhide that is between 3 and 6 months old. It is tanned using traditional methods, and a thin layer of pigment is applied to create a transparent surface. The fine bit shrink embossing also creates a sophisticated look.
