The main body uses full vegetable tanned leather (tanned leather) manufactured by Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd., founded in 1937, which is considered to be the best technology in Japan.
We are known worldwide as a tanner specializing in full vegetable tanning using traditional pit tanks. Genuine tanned leather is slowly tanned using a powdered tannin extracted from the bark of mimosa trees grown in South America, resulting in a wild and highly finished leather that is created using the skills of craftsmen. . The bono and rubono leather used in SLOW's standard series comes from North America, but this series uses carefully selected cowhide from Japan. The silver surface is thinner than that produced in North America, and the lack of an oil finish makes it both supple and light.

Regular care of leather is important. Wipe dirt regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
It is important not to let the leather get wet. If it gets wet, please dry it quickly. In this case, gently pat it with a dry towel to absorb it. Never rub or wipe it off. Dirt on the rubbing surface will penetrate into the leather and cause stains. After removing the moisture, shape it and stuff it with paper (newspaper, etc.). Dry in the shade at room temperature in a well-ventilated place. Please avoid drying in direct sunlight or using a hair dryer at high temperatures as this may cause the leather to shrink or harden.
Apply cream or protective oil only after the moisture has completely evaporated. Please use a special cream that matches the type of leather and surface treatment method. Also, be sure to test paint on an inconspicuous area before use. This is to prevent discoloration, stains, and deformation.
Scrub off any small stains with an eraser, being careful not to discolor. For oily stains such as finger marks, use a cleaner specifically made for leather. In this case, be sure to test wipe on an inconspicuous area.
